LCS Honored at 2026 McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards
Sep 28 2026LCS’ proprietary Retention Radar program earned national recognition in the 2026 McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards, receiving Silver in the Innovator of the Year category and Bronze awards in both the Home Grown and Creative Use of AI categories. The annual awards recognize innovative technology solutions that enhance care, improve operations and advance the senior living industry.
Retention Radar is LCS’s proprietary predictive workforce intelligence solution that was built using advanced machine learning and integrated into a Power BI environment. Built and maintained by LCS data scientists, operations and community leaders, the platform analyzes workforce trends, engagement indicators and operational patterns to uncover meaningful predictors of turnover and recommend targeted interventions. The technology has been deployed in live pilots across more than 15 communities.
In addition, The Forum at Rancho San Antonio earned a Gold Award for its collaboration with Beewise Technologies that brought together traditional beekeeping with AI, robotics, and computer vision. The initiative engages residents in emerging technology while supporting bee colony health, pollination, and sustainability, as well as producing locally sourced honey for the community. The Forum also received a Bronze Award for its collaboration with Cubigo, a resident engagement portal that created a single digital front door that connects residents to programs, services, dining, and community life demonstrating how technology can inspire lifelong learning, strengthen engagement, and enhance the resident experience.
