LCS Development and Westminster Celebrate Topping Out Milestone for $44M Campus Transformation
Sep 23 2026LCS Development and Westminster recently gathered community leaders, residents and project partners to celebrate the topping-out for the community’s $44 million renovation and expansion in Austin, Texas.
The project will add approximately 30,000 square feet of new space and renovate 27,000 square feet of existing areas, bringing new amenities, enhanced accessibility and expanded opportunities for wellness, recreation, lifelong learning and intergenerational connection to Westminster’s nearly 60-year-old, 9.3-acre urban campus. The project is anticipated to be completed in the first quarter of 2027. Key improvements include:
- Addition of a new conservatory, a new themed lounge, new coffee shop along with a food truck venue that will provide greater dining variety and flexibility.
- New spaces that encourage active lifestyles, social engagement, and meaningful connections including game room, arcade games, bowling lanes, a sports simulator, expanded courtyard amenities, and a new dog park.
- Renovations that will double the size of the library and include the addition of an IT help desk to create additional opportunities for lifelong learning and engagement.
